This is heritage. Nestled into a curve in the Alabama River is the small, rural community of Gee's Bend. There you will find the Gee's Bend Quilters Collective. Made up of over 50 women, the Collective practices a distinct quilting style passed down through at least six generations. Each quilt is completely unique and individually produced. The collective has shared its beautiful art through its critically acclaimed international touring exhibitions.
