This is Gallaudet University. In 1864, President Abraham Lincoln signed a charter creating Gallaudet University, the world's only college where all programs and services are designed for deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Today, with over 16,000 alumni worldwide, the college is thriving. Forty percent of the faculty are deaf or hard of hearing, and the school also embraces around 18% hearing students. Approximately 90% of its graduates get jobs in fields related to their majors.
