This is diversity at work. Many modern businesses realize that diversity is crucial to their success—both in understanding their customers, and also in keeping their employees engaged and inspired. To foster this value, Symantec, along with many other organizations, has created a Diversity Council to reach out to its potential customers, but also to "reach in" to its own employees to create a corporate culture where people can work better together.
